Education Service
Helping people build confidence, wellbeing and opportunities through accessible learning.
The Marie Trust is a Glasgow charity supporting people affected by homelessness, poverty and social exclusion.
We recognise that homelessness is rarely caused by one issue alone, and that people may face overlapping challenges relating to trauma, mental health, addiction, poverty, housing and isolation.
Our aim is to provide a supportive, non-judgemental environment where people can stabilise, rebuild confidence and move towards recovery, greater independence and new opportunities.
Support that recognises how past experiences can affect wellbeing, trust and recovery.
A respectful and welcoming environment where people can feel heard and supported.
Recognising that homelessness, health, trauma, addiction, poverty and isolation are often interconnected.
Helping people build confidence, stability, connection and opportunities beyond immediate crisis.

Our Albion Street hub includes private counselling rooms, a dedicated education room and flexible spaces used for learning, exhibitions, workshops and community activities.
Some of our education and event spaces are available to hire.

“It is only through attending the community photography classes at The Marie Trust that I gained sufficient confidence and self-belief to apply to college.”
