Sponsor a learner
Businesses and individuals can sponsor a place for someone experiencing homelessness, recovering from homelessness or affected by trauma.
Each sponsored place can help a learner:
- develop practical and creative skills
- build confidence and self-belief
- prepare for further education or employment
- connect with support, services and new opportunities
£150 can fund one place on a 12-week course
A gift of £150 directly supports a learner as they take positive steps towards their future.

Our short courses give learners the opportunity to build skills, develop confidence and learn in a welcoming, supportive environment.
By sponsoring a course, you can help create opportunities for people to progress towards further education, employment and greater independence.
£1,500 can fund a complete course for up to 12 learners
Your gift contributes towards teaching, materials and learner support.

- updates about the course they have supported
- a short end-of-course impact summary
- anonymous learner feedback and success stories
- recognition on The Marie Trust website or promotional materials
