Christmas Campaign 2024

Pledge your tree and share your support this Christmas with The Marie Trust

Show someone you don’t know that you care – donate and leave a message of support on our Just Giving Page. Each week we will publish your message on our virtual tree

A Christmas tree can be more than just a tree. This year, make it a message of support.

We are asking local business across Glasgow to Pledge their Christmas Tree this year to The Marie Trust and use it to gather donations.

Did you know that we’re one of Glasgow’s smallest homeless charities? Despite our size, our impact is vast: supporting over 2,000 people each year with 90 people come through our doors every day. Your support means we can continue to be there for people when they need us the most. Find out more about what we do.

How does it work?

Donate through our Just Giving Page and leave a message and we will post this weekly on our social media thanking everyone for their donation. Your message will be added to The Marie Trust Christmas tree at our Albion St hub for the people we support and visitors to read.

What should I write on my tag?

Your tag can say anything you like but remember, Christmas is a time of hope. Your message could be a festive wish, or it could be a message to let people who are struggling know you are thinking of them.

How to get involved

  • Visit and donate through the Just Giving Link
  • Pledge Your Tree – send us an email at info@themarietrust.org.uk to register that you’re taking part and to receive your printable Christmas tag templates
  • Share your tags and progress on social media! We’d love to see your trees and messages. Remember to tag us so we can see your photos and videos!

Not got an office or shop tree but still want to get involved?

We also have our very own Christmas Tree in our hub. Contact us on info@themarietrust.org.uk and arrange a time to visit and donate and put your message on our tree. It’s also a great chance to find out more about what we do!
