The Marie Trust provides a Hospital Outreach Service at Glasgow Royal Infirmary (GRI), Stobhill, and Queen Elizabeth University Hospital specifically for patients who are homeless or at risk. The program is managed by David Brannan, a Marie Trust Caseworker, with a background in law, crisis intervention and migrant support, who works closely with Information and Advice Services at GRI and receives referrals from the clinical teams for patients who are at greater risk of remaining in poverty and higher risk of returning to A & E, disconnected from services, and less likely to use local resources.
